Four years of bottle ageing has done beautiful things to the Winstead Lot 7. Deep black red in the glass, with black cherry, dusty caramel, and oak on the nose. The palate is warm, soft, and smooth with a sweet cherry and chocolate  structure that speaks to careful winemaking and patient cellaring. The Seven Inch is Chatto's more approachable release, named after the 45rpm record format, it's made to be enjoyed now and often.
