Because, to use the vernacular, they were blown away by the quality, and promised each other to keep the other two bottles to enjoy across the next two weekends because "this is too special to drink all at once"
My mate said that they will definitely buy more to enjoy at Christmas with the extended family.

I can't afford to ask you to send it to me in England because the delivery will outweigh the price of the wine. But I certainly enjoyed it vicariously.

My favourite sparkling so far

A welcome change from my usual choices of Riesling and Pinot Gris. I love this light white with its oak creaminess.
