Chartley Estate
Chartley Estate carries a distinctly maritime story into its wines. Before turning to grapes, the family behind Chartley made their living diving for abalone, and that connection to the sea has followed them to their 12-hectare vineyard overlooking the Tamar River in the West Tamar region. Now under the guidance of respected winemaker Peter Dredge, Chartley produces cool climate Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and sparkling wine, with a Riesling that's picked up trophies at the Canberra International Riesling Challenge for Best Tasmanian, Best Australian and Best World Dry Riesling all at once.

Three years of ageing on lees has given this Chartley Sparkling Rosé a depth and character that sets it apart. Delicate pink blush in the glass, with strawberry and fresh citrus on the nose. The palate is full and flavoursome. Nectarine, ripe red berries, and tangy lemon acidity, with a creamy mouthfeel and delicate mousse that carry it to an elegant finish. A Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling from the Tamar River region that rewards those who seek it out. Pair with fresh seafood, charcuterie, or soft cheeses. Drink now through 2027.
