Sonnen

Sonnen began in 2020 as a side project for Tasmanian viticulturist Luke Andree, made alongside his day job tending vines at Mewstone. It's grown into something more since, small-batch, minimal intervention wines that lean into experimentation rather than tradition, with fruit sourced from across the island including the Tamar Valley and Tasmania's northwest coast. Luke trained at Charles Sturt University and picked up experience at Stefano Lubiana and in Germany's Mosel before coming home. These are wines made for good drinking rather than ceremony, unpretentious and full of character.
