Two Tonne Tasmania takes its name from its very first vintage, when winemaker Ricky Evans was given two tonnes of Pinot Noir fruit in exchange for a temporary winemaking gig back in 2013. After honing his craft under Ed Carr at Bay of Fires, Ricky launched his own label with a philosophy he still holds to today, small parcels, big love. Centred on his own Woodlawn Park vineyard in the Tamar Valley, with fruit also drawn from the East, South and North coasts, the range is all about capturing Tasmania's subregional diversity with precision and restraint.

It's less about variety and more about depth.

TMV is a snapshot of the Tamar Valley in a single vintage. Crafted from our four estate sites and two dedicated growers, this Pinot Noir captures the region's standout characteristics. Juicy, vibrant, alive with red fruits and spice. Soft at its core with a trail of freshness and fine strawberry seed-like tannin. A true representation of the valley.
EST celebrates Tasmania's East Coast from a single Freycinet site. Warm spring and hot dry summer shaped this lighter, elegant vintage. Whole berry fermented with 7–10 days on skins, it reveals signature graphite and soil-driven tannins. A pretty, refined expression of regional terroir.
Two Tonne Tasmania STH Pinot Noir 2025 is a southern Tasmanian blend sourcing equal parts from the Derwent, Coal River and Huon Valley. This vintage marks the Huon Valley's debut in the STH cuvée, with fruit from the newly available Riverbell vineyard delivering riper, more structured character than previous releases. Crafted with minimal intervention, 10% whole bunch fermentation, gentle handling, and early pressing across all parcels the wine spent 11 months in oak. The result is a richer, plusher Pinot Noir with distinctive depth driven by cool-climate Huon fruit, balanced by the elegance of the Derwent and Coal River components. A benchmark southern Tasmanian Pinot Noir showcasing regional diversity and winemaking restraint.
Hand picked at perfect ripeness, Two Tonne's Tamar Valley Chardonnay is a wine of refreshing generosity. A sea spray essence on the nose leads to decadent notes of ripe peach and lemon curd on the palate. Partial malolactic fermentation adds texture and roundness, while pure, enduring acidity keeps everything fresh and focused. A sophisticated expression of the Tamar Valley from one of Tasmania's most exciting producers. Pair with fresh seafood, roast chicken, or creamy pasta. Drink now through 2030.
Two Tonne's Tamar Valley Riesling is a wine of aromatic elegance and textural depth. Lime curd tart and jasmine lift from the glass, while the palate delivers bright lime fruit and subtle pastry notes.
