The Wobbly Boot Riesling is an off-dry style that's easy to love. Lemon blossom and rich stone fruit on the nose, with a slight sweetness that creates a soft, generous mouthfeel. Fresh and smooth in equal measure, it's the kind of wine you reach for on a warm afternoon without overthinking it. Pair with Thai cuisine, fresh seafood, or soft cheeses. Drink now through 2028.

Meet the owners

Wobbly Boot is a genuinely different kind of vineyard. Paul, Lynda and their family bought a degraded former sheep property in Campania in 2014 and set about rewilding it, prioritising organic growing, regenerative farming and wildlife conservation over yield or convenience. Frustrated by what they saw elsewhere in the industry, chemical use, wildlife culling, retailers chasing the cheapest option, they built something deliberately different, low intervention Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Noir sold directly to a community of members who share their values.

Coal River Valley

About the region

Tucked into the valleys surrounding the historic town of Richmond, the Coal River Valley is Tasmania's sunniest wine region. Low rainfall, abundant sunshine and cooling breezes off the Tasman Sea come together to create conditions that are about as close to perfect as it gets for grape growing. It shows in the wines: Chardonnay with real texture and depth, Pinot Noir with elegance and structure, Riesling with precision, and sparkling wines that hold their own against the best in the world.
