The 2025 Pinot Blanc was 100% whole bunch pressed and naturally settled in tank overnight. Fermentation was split evenly, with 50% in tank and 50% in seasoned oak puncheons, with no new oak used. A selected neutral yeast was chosen to enhance varietal purity and expression. The wine was matured for nine months on fine lees, building texture and complexity while retaining freshness and vibrancy.

Calm and understated rather than aromatic, with pear, green apple and white peach, hints of citrus blossom and a soft herbal nuance

Palette

Clean and supple with juicy orchard fruit, bright acidity, light texture and a subtle mineral undertone. The barrel work should add a gentle creaminess, and the 2023 vintage showed saline, quince and dried herb notes, so expect a similar savoury edge.

Meet the owners

Bremley Vineyard sits at the northern edge of the Coal River Valley, beneath the shelter of Gunnings Sugarloaf. James and Vanessa Bresnehan took over the site in 2008 and spent years supplying fruit to other producers, including Penfolds' famed Yattarna Chardonnay, before deciding to make their own wine. Teaming up with respected winemakers Justin Bubb and Anna Pooley, Bremley has quickly built a reputation for pure, site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, taking out the Australian Pinot Noir Challenge in 2024.
