Palette
The palate is silky and vibrant, showing red berry fruit, black cherry and fine-grained tannins balanced by fresh cool-climate acidity. Gentle French oak adds savoury complexity and texture, leading to a long, poised finish with lingering spice and mineral notes. Drink now or cellar for 6–10 years.
Pairings
Pairs beautifully with roast chicken, duck, pork, mushroom dishes, salmon, charcuterie, truffle pasta and soft cheeses. Its freshness also makes it a great match for lighter dishes featuring herbs and earthy flavours.
Wine Making
he 2025 Pinot Noir was crafted
from 100% destemmed fruit and
spent 18 days on skins to build
structure and depth. Fermented
with a neutral yeast to preserve
fruit purity, the wine highlights
varietal characters from the
vineyard. It was matured for 10
months in French puncheons,
with 35% new François Frères
oak, adding a subtle complexity
and fine texture while allowing
the vibrant fruit profile to
remain the focus.
Meet the owners
Bremley Vineyard sits at the northern edge of the Coal River Valley, beneath the shelter of Gunnings Sugarloaf. James and Vanessa Bresnehan took over the site in 2008 and spent years supplying fruit to other producers, including Penfolds' famed Yattarna Chardonnay, before deciding to make their own wine. Teaming up with respected winemakers Justin Bubb and Anna Pooley, Bremley has quickly built a reputation for pure, site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, taking out the Australian Pinot Noir Challenge in 2024.

Coal River Valley
About the region
Tucked into the valleys surrounding the historic town of Richmond, the Coal River Valley is Tasmania's sunniest wine region. Low rainfall, abundant sunshine and cooling breezes off the Tasman Sea come together to create conditions that are about as close to perfect as it gets for grape growing. It shows in the wines: Chardonnay with real texture and depth, Pinot Noir with elegance and structure, Riesling with precision, and sparkling wines that hold their own against the best in the world.
