Aroma
Atom Wines Pinot Gris shows aromas of pear, nectarine, summer florals, citrus, and subtle spice with a fresh, textured finish.
Palette
Florals, ripe pear, and juicy nectarine drive this cool-climate classic, offering a brilliantly aromatic, deep, and textured expression of the variety. Crafted in tiny batches, this is a wine that speaks softly but leaves a lasting impression.
Pairings
Pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, grilled prawns, Thai cuisine, pork, chicken, and creamy cheeses, with its vibrant fruit, floral lift, and balanced texture complementing aromatic and delicate flavours.
Wine Making
We are wine producers who source premium fruit from across Tasmania to craft our signature blends. Our fruit comes from several regions, including a small patch on the East Coast, the Coal Valley, and the Cradle Coast. All fruit is pressed at Ghost Rock Vineyard, located in the Cradle Coast region.
Meet the owners
Atom is a small family label from Rich and Rach, who describe themselves as the nucleus with friends and family as the electrons, a fitting metaphor for a wine born out of connection. Rich grew up on a mixed farming property in Tasmania's Southern Midlands, and though he came to wine later in life, working alongside some of the state's best growers gave him the access and knowledge to make something genuinely his own. Sourced from the North West Coast and Tamar Valley, Atom's Pinot Noir leans into red cherry and blueberry with a warm spice edge.

West Coast
About the region
Wild wilderness, ancient rainforests, rugged mountains and windswept coasts, this is Tasmania's West Coast. It's the smallest and newest wine region on the island, home to just a handful of producers making cool climate wines of genuine character. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Gris are the varieties that thrive here, shaped by one of the most dramatic landscapes on earth.
